Architects plan to save

Plan to build your home the smart way. The price of oil of gas doesn't matter if your not using any.

Airtight Envelope

Air tightness should not be mistaken for insulation. Both qualities are essential characteristics.

What is a Passive House?

A new building standard that is energy efficient, comfortable, affordable and of course ecological at the same time. Passive Building structures is our brand name, which includes the construction concept that a Passive House is more than just a low-energy building.

Our Passive Building Structures allow for heating and cooling related energy savings of up to 90% compared with historical building procedures and over 75% compared with most modern builds. Using our building we can reduce  heating oil  use less than 1.5 litres per square meter of living space per year.  Passive Building Structures are valued for their high level of comfort and they use energy sources inside the building such as the body heat from the residents or solar heat entering the building making your comfort much more affordable.

Statement

Our guidelines are based on the implementation of the Passive House Standard in cool, moderate climates similar to those of Central Europe where the Standard was first developed. Experience has proven, however, that the Passive House Standard works well in a wide variety of climates both hot and cold, mild and extreme.
